What’s an Easy Breakfast for Thanksgiving Day?
I typically spend a fair amount of time baking on Wednesday while on Thursday I’ve got lots of last-minute prep and crucial timing to do for the big turkey dinner. I need an easy breakfast for Thanksgiving Day.
This means that it:
- can be made ahead or even frozen in advance
- doesn’t take up a ton of fridge space since that’s already a game of Jenga, balancing the many courses of the main meal
- works for any number of diets since we’ve got family coming who may eat differently than we do
- can be delegated to someone else to serve since I might be busy prepping other foods
Our family always makes the Turkey Cinnamon Rolls. They are one of the fun Thanksgiving activities for kids we’ve always done, even now that they’re all adults.
I prep the dough while I’m doing all the other baking on Wednesday. Then we bake them off in the morning and serve with an easy egg bake, fresh fruit, and yogurt.
