    jessica's faves

    My doctor has recommended that I eat a low fat diet. My cardiologist has recommended vegetarian/Mediterranean diet.

    I've spoken with a nutrition coach as to how best implement these things, coming up with a pattern of

    • focusing on lots of fruits and vegetables every day
    • limiting my animal protein to chicken, turkey, or fish once a day
    • enjoying low- or non-fat dairy once a day
    • including 1 egg yolk and unlimited egg whites once a day
    • eating whole grains instead of processed white bread, etc.

     

    Here are some of the foods I'm enjoying along these guidelines:
