Reading My Phony Valentine? Include some of these yummy recipes in your binging!

One of my favorite romcoms is My Phony Valentine by Courtney Walsh. Seriously. I’ve read it so many times, I think it has become one of my comfort reads.
You know the book that you turn to when you’re tired, sick, lonely? That’s the book.
One of the fun things about this book (besides the sweet romance) is that there’s yummy food, yummy food that you and I can make ourselves!
In fact, I skimmed through it this morning and curated a little montage of recipes from Good Cheap Eats to go with the book!
I’m not a chef, like Poppy, but I know good food when I see it!
Consider making:
- Blueberry Muffins and Easy Quinoa Egg Bites in honor of Poppy and Dallas’ meet-cute.
- Try your hand at making your own Peppermint Mocha – the one that Dallas gets by mistake. Use the peppermint version of my Chocolate Whipped Cream and/or Homemade Chocolate Syrup. Add one or both to your next cup of coffee.
- Enjoy yummy breakfast treats like what Poppy makes in her restaurant. I think she’d be proud of Banana Whole Wheat Pancakes and Brioche French Toast.
- Cook up a pot of Supreme Meatballs to serve on pasta — and don’t forget the good broccoli. (And yes, she did serve the broccoli with pasta and meat sauce, so you could go that way, too.)
- Make your Mini Pizzas in the shape of hearts for Valentine’s Day.
- And don’t forget a batch of soft pretzels and pretend you’re at a hockey game.
