My doctor has recommended that I eat a low fat diet. My cardiologist has recommended vegetarian/Mediterranean diet.
I've spoken with a nutrition coach as to how best implement these things, coming up with a pattern of
- focusing on lots of fruits and vegetables every day
- limiting my animal protein to chicken, turkey, or fish once a day
- enjoying low- or non-fat dairy once a day
- including 1 egg yolk and unlimited egg whites once a day
- eating whole grains instead of processed white bread, etc.
