    If you’re a tea drinker, then you’re in for a treat. If you want to be a tea drinker, then this Apple Cinnamon Tea recipe may just be your gateway to new tastes and teas!

    Simmering tea with apple juice fives it a fruity sweetness without the added sugar. And the extra kick from the ginger, cloves, and cinnamon stick make this cinnamon apple tea the perfect drink to serve at parties and whenever you want to warm up.

    Why Make This Apple Cinnamon Tea

    It’s easy. You can simmer this tea atop the stove or set it and forget in the slow cooker. It’s super easy to make and can easily be doubled or tripled.

    It’s festive. This is the perfect drink to serve throughout the fall and holiday months, all the way until spring. With the apple slices and cinnamon sticks for garnish, this Apple Cinnamon Tea is party-ready. It’s delicious served at a Christmas Brunch or other holiday Tea Party.

    Bonus: it would be perfect to serve at a party prepping Advent Tea Calendars.

    It’s super versatile. While the recipe calls for black tea bags, you can easily substitute your favorite herbal tea or green tea instead. Don’t like ginger? Leave it out. Want it sweeter? Add some honey or maple syrup. You can even serve it over ice for folks who prefer iced tea.

    Ingredients

    Here’s what you’ll need to make this Apple Cinnamon Tea recipe:

    apple juice – You can use fresh, frozen, or bottled apple juice for this recipe.

    aromatics and spices – Whole cloves, sliced ginger, and cinnamon sticks will infuse your tea with great flavor.

    black tea bags – There are many types of tea to choose from, but a simple grocery store black tea is cheapest. You’ll be dressing it up with flavor so it’s okay to go budget here.

    optional garnish: apple slices, additional cloves, and cinnamon sticks – The garnish really makes your Apple Cinnamon Tea feel festive.

    In a large pot, combine the apple juice, water, cloves, sliced ginger, and cinnamon stick. Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer 10 to 15 minutes, covered. Strain the mixture into a heated tea pot.

    Steep the tea bags in the hot juice for 2-3 minutes. Pour into cups and garnish with apple slices and additional cinnamon sticks for stirrers.

    Promptly store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator, for up to 3 days.

    For iced tea: When you’re done with steeping the tea. Remove the tea bags and allow the tea to cool slightly. Serve over ice.

    • 6 whole cloves
    • 1 cinnamon stick
    • 4 black tea bags
