Sounds yummy. My family will eat raw veggies without a dip, but it’s nice to make a dip every so often. I will have to try this next time.

I made this for my family’s stay-at-home New Year’s Eve with Siggi’s brand nonfat plain skyr (Icelandic yogurt) which is thick and rich feeling. It is delicious, with just a bit of tang.

That sounds like a great adaptation, Kay! Thanks for suggesting it!

I don’t know what I did wrong. It came out terrible. Couldn’t taste anything but overpowering onion. It was in desperate need of salt. I hate to throw it out and be wasteful. ?

Possible that some of the seasonings were a little old? Just season to taste, adding more salt or other spices until you like it. If you don’t want to use it as a dip, you can also use it to top potatoes or stir into mashed potatoes.

I made this last night and my husband and I loved it. We served it with veggies and Ritz crackers. The toddlers didn’t care for it, but there’s not much that they like these days.

This does sound good. Have you done much with Greek yogurt? My sister-in-law uses it for things like this and just loves it. Do you think it would work for this? Any pros and cons that you know of for using Greek yogurt? Thanks!

It would be great with Greek yogurt – tons more protein, too.
