Bake, boil, or pressure cook the potatoes until tender.
Place the potatoes in a baking dish in a single layer and cover with the slices of raclette cheese.
Place the dish in the broiler for 3-5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and slightly bubbling.
Serve the potatoes with the ham and pickles. Serve immediately.

As mentioned, sautéed mushrooms and green beans are nice additions as are your favorite cooked vegetables and roasted sausages or chicken.Freeze Extra for Later: While you can't freeze the cooked meal, you can put together a raclette kit of sliced cheese, ham, cooked sausages, wrapped separately and frozen. Thaw in the fridge and then assemble as directed.Make a Plan for Leftovers: Be sure to promptly store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator, for up to 3 days. Reheat prior to eating.
