In a large mixing bowl, dissolve the strawberry gelatin with the hot water. Stir until well dissolved.
3 oz strawberry gelatin, 1 ¼ cup hot water
Stir in the ice cream until melted and well combined. Place the bowl in the fridge until thickened, but not set, about XX minutes.
1 pt vanilla ice cream
Fold in the strawberries. Turn the filling into the pie crust and chill until firm.
1 cup sliced strawberries, 1 graham cracker pie crust
Garnish with additional strawberries and serve.
