one large fully cooked half ham*, 2 cup apple juice, ½ cup dried cranberries
Carefully remove the ham from crockpot and place in roasting pan, on its side.
Heat the oven to 325 ° Combine brown sugar, Dijon mustard, ground cloves, and enough of the juices from the crockpot to create a paste. Spread the paste over the ham. Depending on the size of your ham, you may need less glaze.
¾ cup brown sugar, 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard, ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
Place in the hot oven to glaze, about 20 to 30 minutes. Repeat basting with the glaze, if desired.
Slice and serve, garnished with cranberries.
Notes
* If your ham is fully cooked, it can be served cold or warmed to an internal temperature of 145°F. If your ham is labeled "cook-before-eating" or "fresh ham", it MUST reach 145°F internal temp (with a 3-minute resting time) to be safe to eat.Nutritional values are approximate. Promptly refrigerate leftovers and consume within 4 days. For longer storage, freeze ham.Variations - There are lots of ways to mix and match the flavors in this Crock pot Ham. Consider one of these options:
Brown Sugar Pineapple - Use a mix of apple and pineapple juice as well as dried pineapple instead of the cranberries.
Honey Ham with Apricots - Use apple or white grape juice as well as dried apricots. Instead of brown sugar, use honey in the glaze but very little of the juices from the slow cooker.
Spiral Cut Ham - You can cook a spiral cut ham slow in the slow cooker, however, it gets really tender! It will likely fall apart when you remove it from the crock unless you use a foil
