Freezing almond milk can be a great way to extend its shelf life when you can't use it up fast enough. Learn how to freeze almond milk so you can use it later in baking.
Pour off enough almond milk so that there's at least one-inch headspace in the container. Loosely replace the cap and place it in the freezer.
1 container almond milk
To use: transfer the container to a rimmed tray and place in the refrigerator. Allow the frozen almond milk to thaw on its own in the fridge. The tray is to catch any drips or leaks. Shake well before using.
To freeze almond milk in cubes or a small container
Pour the almond milk into ice cube trays or a small container and place in the freezer. Once firm, remove the cubes from the trays and store in an airtight container in the freezer. The container can stay in the freezer with the lid secured.
