  • 3/4 cup corn flour
  • 3/4 cup unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornmeal mine was white
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk


  1. Preheat the oven to 350°. Grease an 8-inch square pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flours, cornmeal, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another mixing bowl, combine the oil and honey. Whisk in the eggs and milk.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet and fold gently to combine.
  5. Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes or until a tester inserted comes out with a few crumbs attached.
