The process of tamale-making isn't complicated and it's pretty cheap, too!  You'll need: dried corn husks, masa harina, butter, salt, broth, cheese, corn, and chiles.

In a mixer bowl, combine the butter, masa harina, and salt. Add enough broth to form a soft dough. Stir in the corn, chiles, and cheese.

Soak the corn husks in warm water until pliable. Place the corn mixture in the center, roll the husk around, and fold up the sides.

Steam the tamales in a pot of water on the stove or in the instant pot. In 20 to 40 minutes, you'll have tamales!
