Make as much or as little chocolate syrup as you need! This homemade Chocolate Syrup recipe comes together with just 4 ingredients in about 10 minutes.
In a medium sauce pan, whisk together the sugar and cocoa. Add the water and whisk until the sugar and cocoa are completely dissolved.
2 cup sugar, ½ cup cocoa powder, 1 cup water
Bring the mixture to a low boil and allow it to boil for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Adjust the heat as necessary so that it doesn't boil over.
Whisk in the salt and allow it to cool before transferring to a jar. Once cool, store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

Use the chocolate syrup as a topping for ice cream or cake.
