Wow! The PC is ending in just a few days. This month sure went quickly! I’ve so enjoyed catching up with you all. It’s like old times!
For those of you who would like to continue on with this kind of chit-chat and camaraderie in the kitchen, I’d like to invite you to the Good Cheap Eats Club! We work through all the steps of the Good Cheap Eats System and there’s a private chat forum that’s a highlight for members.
In February, we’re going to be diving deep into grocery budgets: how to set one, how to make adjustments, how to know when to make some changes.
I spent the bulk of the morning in the kitchen today prepping food for Bryan’s birthday: pizza dough, a chocolate cake, Chocolate Buttercream Frosting, a veggie tray, ranch dressing. Homemade Pizza is his favorite meal, the one he chooses for every birthday.
Our meals for Day 29:
Breakfast: the usual mix of oats, smoothies, eggs, and toast. I ran out of blueberries and so no more muesli until I get to the store for more. I’m really trying to stay away from the store.
Dinner: Most Friday nights when we do pizza for a late lunch, we’re usually too full to eat a real dinner. Tonight was no different. The kids ate leftover pizza and fended for themselves.
There’s chocolate cake so what else do we need?
