A couple months ago, my third cookbook was released in stores. Thank you to all of you who have supported me and Good Cheap Eats through your purchases and your shares with friends! I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it. This book is near and dear to my heart, so I’m honored when you purchase it or tell others about it.

After having lived a month overseas and paying for very expensive meals, I’m encouraged more than ever to find economical ways to feed my family and still eat well. And help you do the same!

The holiday season approaches. With it comes the temptation to go overboard. With Good Cheap Eats: Everyday Dinners and Fantastic Feasts for $10 or Less at your fingertips, you can help keep a steady ship.

  1. Thank you for being so generous with your cookbook – all the promotions, the sneak peeks, understanding that borrowing it from the library is a good thing, too.

  2. Carolyn Stutz says:

Honestly, just borrowed your first book from the library. After looking at other freezer cookbooks. I was quite leery, even though all the recipes you’ve posted on this blog have looked, and tasted really good. I was pleasantly surprised and am now willing to buy it to keep. Thanks for all your hard work. And thanks to all your willing taste-testers 🙂
Btw, so glad you had a great time overseas 🙂

  3. I’m so excited that you are sharing this opportunity with us. Our funds are very tight right now as my husband is disabled (but works part-time) and I am undergoing chemotherapy, so buying your book now would be hard. I LOVE your website and refer to your recipes often. Thank you again for sharing this with your readers!’

    • I’m so sorry to hear of your situation. I hope the chemo goes well/successfully for you. I have two good friends walking that road right now and it is not an easy path.

      • Thank you. Today was my last day of chemo IF the PET scan in December shows no more cancer. Then, I will go on to 18 months of maintenance therapy of every other month for one day as opposed to every month for two days. I pray your friends do well and I will pray for them. I would not wish chemo on my worst enemies. Thank you again, Sandi.

  4. Joyce Kernan says:

I would so love to win this book. My husband and I are retired and I cook at home almost every day. Thank you for offering it.

  5. Thank you for this very generous chance to win a copy of your book, Jessica!

  6. Janine Flett says:

    Hi Jessica
My copy finally arrived mid October yay. Even though, as you may recall I am in Australia, and groceries etc are way higher in price, your book is as awesome as I expected and still so very relevant. I didn’t get around to getting a photo of the book somewhere fun and tropical before the end of October, which is a shame 🙁

  7. I have a copy already so I hope to win one for my sister. Thanks for the chance!!!

  8. I love your recipes and thoughtful advice on keeping the cost of food within reason! Thank you for all of your clever ideas and insight!
