I had never done much prep for breakfast until I started reading your blog. It has really been helpful. I now keep waffles, pancakes and an assortment of sliced quick breads in the freezer along with prepped fruit, milk and juice in the fridge. With these in place, the kids can get breakfast on their own.

By the way, your spiced carrot bread has been a big hit and I do not even add the icing. This includes a daughter who insists she does not like carrots.

    • Well, fun! Thanks for letting me know. It’s nice to know I had some part in tasty mornings. Have a great week!

We recently tried the Spiced Waffles from Not Your Mother’s Make-Ahead cookbook. Love these. This weekend made the big batch and froze all of them. Our 6 yr old loves to pop them in the toaster and make her own breakfast. She might be going on 2 weeks of having them every day.

    • Those are my mom’s favorite. They are good with ice cream. 😉 Glad your daughter enjoys them, too!
