About Jessica Fisher

I believe great meals don't have to be complicated or expensive. There's a better way, and it won't take all afternoon.

One of the lesson I have learned during this month’s pantry challenge is that I am not rotating the old cans to the front when I purchase new cans as well as I thought. I went to use one of the last two cans of evaporated skim milk in the pantry and found that both were out of date by a good six months. This is a frequently used staple in my house (at least one can a week). It goes on sale so frquently that I rarely purchase more than 10 cans at a time so I should not have to worry about out of date cans.
