What’s on Sara’s Plate?

Chili is a favorite around our house this time of year! In fact, I like to make big batches and freeze it for meals later. It warms you up on a cold day and is heartier than soup, which my husband likes. All of that I think definitely qualifies it as a good, cheap, eat!

But, pumpkin chili?! Sounds a little weird, huh? I certainly thought so, but many friends assured me it is delicious. So, with copious amounts of pureed pumpkin in our freezer, I decided to give it a go.

  1. I shared my Panko Baked Cod recipe. I actually use pollack now since it was on sale the last few times I had to stock up on fish. You can use all panko, or a mix of panko and regular breadcrumbs. It depends on your taste.

    Thank you for hosting!

  2. I’ve been meaning to make pumpkin chili for the longest time! It looks wonderful! Thanks!
