While I was doing my Whole 30, as they say, I read a lot of food labels. I was stunned at how much soy and sugar are in so very many things that we eat. Previously, I thought I was aware of it, but since I was watching every single thing that I ate, I realized a lot had slipped by me.

I found a few processed snacks that passed the test, but basically I was on my own in terms of making food that fit my diet. That meant I clocked a lot of hours in the kitchen. While I love to cook, I confess that I love having something quick and portable on hand.

So, when Simple Squares contacted me, I was thrilled to try out their product. Check out the ingredients list:

  1. Mmm, those sound really good. Nobody around here carries them, though, and with shipping costs it would be about $3 per bar. Ouch!

  2. How do I find out if anyone in my area carries them?

  3. These look good, we usually have Lara bars but would love another tasty gluten free option, and I love coconut. Thanks for posting and for the giveaway!
