I make this a lot for my teens. Thanks for a great recipe!

Yay! So glad to hear it’s a winner. Thanks for taking the time to review the recipe, Amber.

My friends and I lived on them too in High School! Never thought about prepping them and keeping them in the freezer – great idea!
I drove a similar car; the first car I ever bought was a 1981 Lincoln Continental with the same, awesome, flip up headlights!

Too funny – I’m a few days behind on the blog, and sat down to read this during lunch…which happens to be a pizza bagel 🙂

A money saver, clean up kind of dish. It is also healthy and delicious.
Eva
We make them with hamburger buns instead of bagels. My kids love them.
Stephanie
Arepas, corn tortillas, and english muffins also make great quick pizza crusts! Ieft a link to a post about a late spring salad: asparagus meets potato and lemon.
Krissa
I’ll have to try those…I usually do mini pizzas on english muffins, but bagels sound great!

I love the picture! I had hair a lot like that… I think it was about 1988!
The lunch that my high school served was cooked onsite and was so good! I especially loved the Chicken Teriyaki.
Bibi
Love the little trip down the memory Lane.
My favorite food from the past must be Fried Cheese…so gooey and yummy.

I love pizza bagels and english muffin bagels too. Oh, and I went to high school in the 80’s in Los Angeles…Westchester High School. My car was pea green and very loud and uncool.

Yum! We love pizza bagels… and also English muffin pizzas. It’s been awhile since we had them, though, so I’ll use this as a little nudge to get them on the menu plan. The kids will be thrilled!

i make these as a freezer food. they’re great to have on hand for a quick & easy lunch for the kids.
no. i prep them and then place them on a cookie sheet, pop them in the freezer. once frozen i transfer to a ziploc. to reheat, just place on a pizza stone and pop into the oven.

Great picture. : ) I thought it was from a movie before I scrolled down and read the post.

@KS, Yeah, I thought that picture was way cute, too! Totally looks like it’s from a movie.
I’m #25 – tried out Jessica’s Mexican Rice recipe and loooved it. The only way I’ve enjoyed rice by itself in years! Lately I’ve been using it in taco salad varieties, and my post lists a quick formula for a beans and rice taco salad.

LOVE pizza bagels! 🙂
Anne
We always used to make these when I was little. Memories!
